Congratulations to your son. You must be so proud. My daughter graduated and got her degree from university as a mature student this year. We won't be going to the graduation ceremony she is boycotting it. They won't allow children to go to watch and her daughter has put up with a lot while her mum studies for her degree. I understand her principles but am a wee bit disappointed.
No children at commencement?? How can they defend this? Ours was so relaxed (held in a basketball stadium) that food was being sold, and eaten, throughout the ceremony: nachos, giant pretzels, cookies etc. That I had not seen before. But congratulations to your daughter and I hope they change their policy for the future. Who do they think are the graduates of the future??!
Welcome to my blog and thanks for stopping by!!. I have two blogs; one (www.flyinglilies.blogspot.com) records mainly my equine adventures, with an occasional Cavalier moment. The other (www.mrbentosbabe.blogspot.com) records my obsession with Bento box lunches. Call me crazy, but don't call me late for lunch.
