"Dude, WhassUp?"

"Wanna do somethin baaad when we get back home?"

"Like chase the other guys around the pasture? Or steal someone's jacket off the fence?"

"Duuude, I like the way you think."

These two clowns enjoyed a morning ride which was rather balky and wavy on the way out, but straight quick and businesslike on the way home. Guess they had their evil pasture plans in place. They are of the same breed, both gaited, and both as full of mischief as a first grade class.

I had never noticed my friend's cool riding gloves (click to see the little horseshoes!) which I now seriously envy:

And afterwards husband and I went in search of vital nutrients:

Every so often I get a Taco John jones and nothing else will do...mmm those little tater tots in a cardboard cup. You can actually feel your heartbeat slow down as you eat. A good day so far!

I have those EXACT gloves! I like the little horseshoes and the fact that while they are kinda funky they're not too "in your face".

Those pictures are too cute. I'll bet they were conspiring on doing something back home. Sounds like a fun day.

cdn: WHERE did you get them? Must have.

Greyhorse, yes they conspire endlessly, in their almost limitless free time. Though they are Bobbsey twins, every now & then they get mad at each other and that is even more funny to watch.

The coloring on those two is perfect. One horse's mane is lighter than its coat while the other horse's mane is darker than its coat... Makes for a great picture.

And they love having their pictures taken! I've never seen any 2 horses who pose better than these partners in crime...Thanks NM!

Omg, if my husband's blood slowed down any more due to arterial blockage he wouldn't be moving. Cute pics, loved the convo!

Those photos are wonderful. Love the horsey conversations. As for those gloves. I want I want I want.
We are due for storms today so probably no riding although it's still dry as I look out the window..rain I ton't mind, wind I don't mind just not together.

I think I bought them at a store up here called Lammle's (in Alberta, good thing we don't have one is Saskatchewan! I'd be SO broke lol)
If you want to find them online they are Picador brand. The "type" (?) is Original SSG All Weather. I would do a search for english tack stores and see what they have. The gloves come in all sorts of fun prints.

Jester, samey same here.

c2b: I too hate wind plus rain. I am always impressed by British riders' hardiness for riding in the rain.

Cdncowgirl: Thanks! off to search, driven by greed and envy; how's that for a nice start to the weekend? :) Which other vices can I manifest?
