OK, PonyGirl, you asked for it!! this is like the "before" picture to everybody else's "after" but I might as well show the horror, the horror. Yes this is actually my work place and you can see why less work gets done there than should be. First of all, somebody always takes my chair. Then, who threw all that junk around randomly on the shelves and desk? I admit I stuck up some show ribbons after seeing Mrs. Mom had some up (nothing competitive about horse people) and you will notice the "missing shade of blue" which is an old philosophical problem I understand all too well. Gaah. I need to throw out 50% and start fresh.

You are so funny. My Corgi doesn't take my chair, but lies on my desk, knocking all the paperwork to the floor. Your space is actually clean and well organized. Had I panned to the left in my picture, you'd know what horror really is.
I love it! The white shelves are great. That was a funny comment about the ribbons and the missing shade of blue (took me a moment to get it- sorry, I'm a bit exhausted today!)

Your Cav is a cutie!! A good friend of mine breeds them in VA, and they are just the coolest little dogs...
I am envious of your shelves!!! We have talked about adding some here, but we are quite afraid that our two year old (AKA: The Wrecking Crew) would climb those, too....
Looks great though! I like your ribbons too ;) No matter what the color, you work DARN hard for them. The ones you see in my pic are the first ones I had gotten in a long, long, LONG time, with a very special colt... They are actually the only ones I still have...
I'm planning on doing my pictures tomorrow for my blogging space. I have to really fix it up though it's quite a mess right now. It will probably take me half the morning to sort through the junk. I've been planning on cleaning the mess up for a while now so this gives me the little push I need to organize.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. PonyGirl's tag has inspired me to try to make this place bit more orderly. My Cavalier is the most sheer fun of any dog I've ever had. He truly lives in the peaceable kingdom where each new person or animal is his next best friend. That tail barely stops wagging -- even when he's asleep, sometimes you will hear a thump thump, tail wag in a dream.
I love your space! It really looks quite well organized with those wonderful shelves and file cabinet. The horse calendar did not slip by my notice, either.

Now see-this is what my space usually looks like. The only reason mine was clean is because I had family over. What I should have done is post a picture of my bedroom so everyone could see why my space was so tidy-LOL. I don't think a tornado could do as much damage as I did when I was frantically throwing stuff into the bedroom so the family didn't have to see what a slob I am-hehehe.
