It Has Come to This

$14.95 to make Gabriel a Devil Dog, and not a happy one to judge by this photo. He appears to be resentfully skulking under the weight of his new evil identity.

Or perhaps he might prefer a dancing skeleton bandana:

And here's Johnnie mumbling up the barn cat:

Kitteh took a 2 week holiday and we feared he had been eaten by an owl but then he returned in his original condition so all is well.

Gabey can't wait for trick-or-treaters. He will be convinced as always that they only came by to see HIM. He's sort of an innocent little solipsist. The world doesn't have to revolve around him, it just chooses to do so because it is a kind and good world.

Great pictures. He looks adorable in either costume. Love Johnny and the cat picture too.

too funny!
We have costumes for our Blue Heeler mix, and she isnt very appreciative of our efforts to bring out her " cute" side.
I love KC spaniels, yours is very cute.

Heehee-the ways we torture the animals we love-LOL. I bought reindeer ears for my boys last Christmas. They looked about as happy wearing them as Gabey does in his devil costume.:)

My Ute has the same philosophy as Gabey...he is just so sure the whole world is dying to love him. Silly animals-I guess this is why we love them so much.

The Kitteh had to come back for that horse-lip back-scratch. Great picture.
Gabey is my favorite Trick-or-Treater.

I think my dogs would leave home if I dressed them up like that..
Halloween is not a big thing here, but is starting to get more popular.

GreyHorse, Jocelyn, BrownEyed, Molly, and c2b:

Gabey was quite a hit with the trick-or-treaters last night. Things we noticed: more young girls carrying babies around the neighborhood: baby dressed in a bundly costume, mom dressed as a hooker (?). Mom carrying two candy bags. Also: Very large young men not really costumed, just drunk, with huge treat bags filled to overflowing. Gabey did indeed assume that everyone was there to see him, and he couldn't understand why they left so soon.
