MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE FROZEN NORTH!

Click on the picture to see:

1. That I did not realize how tangled John's forelock was with ice blobs until after I took this picture.

2. That we were f-f-freezing as I tried to set up a cute photo and I finally just gave up and snapped his profile any old way;

3. That we are wishing you a very Merry Christmas!! Stay warm and cozy, give your horses special treats, and enjoy the magic stillness of a winter's night when the soft dark silence is filled with starry promise.

Much love to all my blogging friends!!!

lol! We tried getting a picture of the four of us and the two mares and the gal taking the picture was so cold, her hands were shaking and ALL the pictures were blurry, but we didn't want to make her keep taking them over and over! lol Don't ya love this time of year?

He's so cute. It's still a good picture :)

Ezra, thank you and yes, it seems like my digital delay is even longer in the cold if that is possible - so the good shots get away even sooner than normal, and I am left with the ears back, eyes closing, etc.

Merry Christmas to you and John looks handsome any old way!
Went to go see the mare last night after almost 2 weeks and she could have cared less!

I think it's a great picture anyway, icy knots and all! ;) I didn't get a chance to get a Christmas picture of My Boy this year...would have been perfect the last week with all the snow, but I wasn't able to get out to see him and deck him out. Oh well! Best laid plans. Merry, merry Christmas to you!

Jocelyn: I'm sure your mare was elated but just didn't want to tip her hand so to speak!

PonyGirl: there is still time for a holiday photo of your very photogenic pony and self! Stay warm though.

Much love back. I am leaving MN on Friday...gets harder all the time. It has been fun to see all the furry faces of horses everywhere...they just don't get the same winter coats out in Oregon (but right now, I bet everyone wishes they did) Merry Christmas to you and the furry ones.
